Gardens at Night: The Fabulous Hubcaps
If you’re looking for something fun to do tonight with the family, head on down to the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley for the last concert of the Gardens at Night Series!
Enjoy rock-and-roll oldies and celebrate the newly opened MSV hubcap exhibition with this special Gardens at Night concert. Casual, family-oriented events, Gardens at Night features live music, free children’s activities (6 to 8 p.m.), and wine, beer, and food from Bonnie Blue available for purchase. The Museum’s Glen Burnie Gardens and the galleries are also open for tours during Gardens at Night (concerts will take place on the lawn by the Museum).
Sponsored by Navy Federal Credit Union and Shenandoah County Q102, the September event will feature The Fabulous Hubcaps, one of the nation’s most sought after oldies show bands. A seven-piece band, The Fabulous Hubcaps have been performing together since 1974. Based in Maryland, the band captivates audiences with their high-energy tributes to original artists like Little Richard, James Brown, Tina Turner, Bobby Darin, Cher, The Flamingos, Ray Charles, The Beach Boys, Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline, Elton John, and Frank Sinatra. With an extensive repertoire of Do-Wop group harmony, classic rock-and-roll, Rock-A-Billy, Motown, and R & B music, The Fabulous Hubcaps are heralded as one of the best nostalgic show bands in the country. Don’t miss this night at the MSV.
